Blue Sky Maritime Coalition Announces New Board Leadership

Blue Sky Maritime Coalition (“Blue Sky” or “the Coalition”) today announced the appointment of its new Board Chair and Vice Chair, marking an important next step in the Coalition’s continued growth and industry impact. Blue Sky is pleased to share that Ted Tregurtha, President and CEO of Moran Towing, will serve as the next Chair of the Board of Directors, and Julie Ferland, Vice President of Shipping & Maritime for Shell in the Americas, will serve as the new Vice Chair of the Board. Prior to this, Ferland led the Coalition’s Policy, Regulatory & Incentives Workstream.

Tregurtha and Ferland bring strong records of collaboration, strategic insight, and commitment to advancing solutions-oriented progress across the maritime value chain.

The Coalition also extends its appreciation to Karrie Trauth, Executive Vice President of Shipping and Maritime for Shell, who served as Chair of the Blue Sky Board of Directors since the Coalition’s inception in 2021. The Coalition recognizes Trauth for her exceptional leadership, steady guidance, and dedication to building a strong foundation for the organization’s future.
