SCOPE

Develop standardized charter party contractual clauses and other commercial constructs that enable incentives for all parties to minimize GHG emissions. This includes incentivizing owners to invest in efficiency improvements and also incentivizing charterers to choose these efficient alternatives.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

Standardized charter party language that drives the lowest possible emissions in a way that does not adversely affect the vessel owner or charterer.
